Social Responsibility

IMCOSA and its team are committed to sharing their resources and knowledge with less privileged groups and individuals. We currently support three organisations in different ways:

1. Since February 2009 Julia Willand has been actively engaged as a member of the board of trustees of Educo Africa. Please find further information regarding this support-worthy organisation below.

2. NALA-Partners for Entrepreneurship is a non-profit organisation with the mission “To serve to lead: supporting South African entrepreneurs and transformation leaders in their quest to succeed.” NALA aims to integrate profit generation for its entrepreneurs with meaningful social engagement and environmental awareness. To its sponsors and partners NALA offers opportunities to participate in sustainable enterprise development, knowledge exchange and intercultural dialogue. Since its inception IMCOSA has been supporting NALA with advice, pro bono services and access to its network of clients and partners.

3. Our long-standing client Lufthansa Global Telesales (GTS) has teamed up with the Lutheran Community Centre to form a Pre-Primary School in the disadvantaged informal settlement Philippi, Cape Town. The iThemba Pre-Primary School has been operational since 2006 and offers children from the very poor Philippi community a safe and pleasant environment to learn elementary English and other basic skills in order to prepare them for the Primary School system and to enhance their chances of a successful schooling career. IMCOSA has been supporting iThemba financially on an ongoing basis since 2007.
